Jodphur to Jaipur

Ranthambore National Park

sunny 28 °C

Headed off on a long coach ride to Jaipur stopping half way for lunch.

Amber Fort was very interesting. We could have taken an elephant ride to the top but you have to queue and sometimes they then just stop for no apparent reason, so we chose to go by jeep.

Had a great time when Vikram let us loose at the markets that evening but one of our party got lost and caused quite a bit of consternation for a while. She finished up getting a rickshaw home to the hotel - thank goodness.

We had a great ride on a rickshaw and then in a tuk-tuk. Went to a local hotel where some local girls danced.

Had a great time at Ranthambore National park and eventually SAW a tiger stalking a deer for its prey.
