Well, surprise! surprise! I am off to India - one of the places I had not put in my bucket list.
However when Neil asked me if I would accompany him John and I discussed it for 3 days and decided it was too good an opportunity to miss.
It is filled with so many delights, architectural wonders and the history goes back centuries with its bustling bazaars, ancient ruins and erotic temples. So I am going to see the Taj Mahal, the Royal Bengal tiger and the ghats of Varanasi. We plan to see Ranthambore National Park and before we fly home we take a trip to Katmandu (sounds so romantic eh?)and then a couple of days at Chitwan National Park.
I wish John was coming too but I don't think his sensitive stomach would survive and all the walking and steps would absolutely bugger him up so he'll keep himself happy fishing at Woodgate and take the occasional trip to Bundaberg. He'll also visit Edna and Les who live on Bargara Road, so I'm sure he'll not miss me too much. Jo and June are talking about visiting for a couple of days so the time will fly.
Neil and I leave by Singapore airlines on 25th February and will be back about the 19th March.
